• Eligibility Criteria for Miss & Mrs. Telugu USA 2025
  • • Telugu Origin: The pageant is open to females of Telugu origin residing in the USA. At least one parent must be of Telugu descent.
    • Residency & Status:
      • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen (by birth or naturalization) or  Green Card holder or Legal residents with a valid ID card are also eligible. The ID must remain valid until Pageant Finale Day.
    • Availability: The applicant must be available to participate in the pageant on the pageant finale Day in Dallas.
    • Age Requirements:
      • Miss Telugu USA: Contestants must be between 18 and 30 years old as of the Pageant Finale Day.
      • Mrs.Telugu USA: Contestants must be over 21 years old as of Pageant Finale Day.
    • Marital Status:
      • Contestants for Miss Telugu USA must be single, never married, divorced, annulled, or have no prior marriages, and have never given birth to a child.
      • Mrs. Telugu USA contestants should be married.
    • Telugu Language: Proficiency in Telugu is not a strict requirement.
    • Character: Contestants must meet the character criteria established by Miss & Mrs. Telugu USA 2025®.
    • Registration Fee: If selected as a finalist, the contestant must pay a registration fee of $150 to participate in the pageant finale.

• Registration Process for Miss & Mrs. Telugu USA 2025
  • • Online Registration: Interested applicants can register online. Opens on November 1^st, 2024, There is no fee to submit the online application.
    • Deadline: Applications will be accepted till Nov 30th 2024
    • Participation Fee: Once the applicant is selected as a contestant, they should pay the nonrefundable partification fee of  $150 to participate in the finale.
    • Audition Details: Auditions dates will be announced soon.

• Audition Process for Miss & Mrs. Telugu USA 2025
  • • Purpose: The audition process is designed to help us understand who you are, what you stand for, and why you want to be part of the pageant. Successful completion of the audition is required to qualify for the pageant finale on May 25, 2025.
    • Audition Dates:
      • Auditions will be held in Dallas. Dates will be announced soon.
      • For applicants residing outside Dallas, alternative arrangements can be made to accommodate their auditions.
    • Audition Results:
      • Applicants will be informed of their audition results via email or phone by the last week of February 2025.
      • If selected, finalists will be provided with the official application form, rules, and regulations.
    • Finalists' Responsibilities:
      • Selected finalists must complete and submit the application form along with the required supporting documents via email to registrations@missteluguusa.com by the deadline specified in the communication.
      • A non-refundable fee of USD 150 must be paid through electronic transfer to registrations@missteluguusa.com to secure a place in the finale.
    • Finalists Announcement:
      • The official list of finalists will be announced on or before March 10, 2025.

• Workshops for Finalists

  • It will take place between March 20, 2025, and May 25, 2025.

    • Mandatory Attendance: Only candidates who attend the workshops will be eligible to compete in the pageant.
    • Remote Participants: Contestants residing outside Texas should contact the pageant team for further details on attending the workshops.
• Pageant Finale

  • The pageant finale will be held on May 25, 2025, at Irving Arts Center, Carpenter Hall, Dallas, TX.

    All selected finalists are expected to participate and perform to the best of their abilities during the finale. This is the culmination of the pageant journey, where the winners of Miss & Mrs. Telugu USA 2025 will be crowned.

• Do I need to be of Telugu origin to participate?

  • Yes, eligibility requires that at least one parent must be of Telugu origin.

• Is knowing Telugu a requirement to compete?

  • No, fluency in Telugu is not required. Questions will be presented in both English and/or Telugu, and you can respond in whichever language you are more comfortable with.

• Do I need to be born in the USA to participate?

  • No, it’s not necessary to be born in the USA, but you must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization, a green card holder, or a permanent resident. Students and individuals with work permits are also eligible.

• Will I need to provide proof of age and citizenship?

  • Yes, you’ll need to submit proof of age and citizenship, such as a birth certificate, U.S. citizenship certificate, ID card, or passport.

• How are contestants evaluated?

  • Contestants will go through three rounds during the pageant finale. Scoring covers multiple categories, each contributing to a portion of your overall score. You’ll be evaluated on personality, communication skills, stage presence, charm, talent, beauty, poise, and confidence. We’re looking for individuals with the “it” factor—those who shine with their presence and can serve as role models.

• I dont have any experience. Can I still compete?

  • No prior experience is necessary! That's where our Miss Telugu USA workshop comes in. We’ll guide you through everything you need to prepare for the pageant. The workshop date will be shared with you via email after registration.

• What if I have a legal issue in my past?

  • Contestants must have a clean legal record, be of good moral character, and must not have any explicit photos or content in any form of media.

• Can I compete for the Miss Telugu USA title if I have been married or have children?

  • No, contestants for the Miss title cannot be married, divorced, have had a marriage annulled, or have given birth to a child.
